LAHORE, March 9: Shahbaz Taseer, the son of Ex-Governor Punjab Salmaan Taseer who reached Lahore from Quetta in a chartered plane, was greeted by his family members at Lahore airport on Wednesday.
He was released four years after he was kidnapped by armed gunmen on August 26, 2011 from Gulberg in Lahore. Shahbaz Taseer was shifted to his house from airport in a bullet-proof car amid tight security.
Roads leading to his house have been sealed, while heavy contingents of security personnel have been deployed in adjourning areas.
Taseer, 33, was taken into custody by security forces from a restaurant in the Kuchlak area of Balochistan on Tuesday.-Agencies
