With deep sense of sorrow, I want to draw your attention towards a very serious problem of our country that is inflation or rising prices. The prices of necessities of life are increasing constantly. The majority of people in our country belong to low income. Therefore, they are hard hit by the high prices of essential goods. There are many factors which cause rises in prices. Firstly, the most important of these, is growing population. Because of the growing population the demand is higher than the supply. Secondly, the wrong policies of government lead to smuggling and black marketing of essential goods. Thirdly, the prices of world markets also have direct or in direct effects upon things produced inside the country.
To overcome the problem of rising prices, our first duty is to check the birth rate. Secondly, the best way of reducing inflation is to increase production of different kinds of goods. Thirdly, the government should take severe action against those who are engaged in smuggling and black marketing. Imports should be reduced and exports should be increased. After taking these measures inflation can be reduced.
