Mian Nawaz Sharif and his family have indulged not only in monumental corruption but also committed acts of outright perjury. Khawaja Asif’s disclosure in an interview with Kashif Abbasi that Sharif family in reality owned the much-discussed London flats as early as 1992-93, is enough to convince even the family’s most impassioned defenders that their ‘Sharif Leaders’ infact have been lying, cheating and covering their fiscal crimes behind the masks of ‘politically victimised’ innocents.
Not just Mian Sahib himself, but also his sons, and his daughter stand automatically convicted of all crimes falling within the ambit of plunder. If the Sharifs owned the London flats as early as 1992-93, the money couldn’t have descended from the heavens, or surfaced from the buried treasures of Qatar.
Mian Nawaz Sharif had certainly indulged in no-holds-barred plunder both as CM Punjab and Prime Minister of Pakistan when the Motorway Project was launched. Substantial money should certainly have come from the loopholes in the Yellow Cab Scheme too.
Mian certainly was a specialist in white collar crime.
