ISLAMABAD February 4: Colonel (R) Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director Centre for Global and Strategic Studies , Dr. Mahmood -ul-Hassan, Member Experts’ Board, Centre for Global and Strategic Studies and Riaz Ahmad Malik Group Editor Daily Alakhbar /National Herald Tribune, Member Experts’ Board Centre for Global and Strategic Studies left for Baku early this morning for Monitoring/Coverage of Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan scheduled to be held on February 9. It is noteworthy that a fifteen- member delegation comprising Parliamentarians, Observers and mediamen will be in Baku for observing/monitoring and reporting the Elections. It is at the credit of Centre for Global and Strategic Studies that its three senior members have been nominated by the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan for monitoring and covering the snap polls. It is noteworthy that Pakistan and Azerbaijan enjoy cordial relationship and the entire credit goes to the incumbent Ambassador of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Ali Alizada for deepening these ties.
It is significant to mention here that Centre for Global and Strategic Studies and Daily National Herald Tribune are in close collaboration for enhancing Pakistan’s friendly relations worldwide and in particular the regional States.
