Fawad Chaudhry’s attack on Islamic Punishments is outrageous. Shirin Mazari’s condemnation of Ali Mohammad’s resolution is no less despicable. To me they both are outsiders in PTI. They talk about Human Rights & Constitution but close their eyes and ears to Quran’s explicit orders

All punishments in Islam are linked with the condition that crime is proved beyond any shadow & shade of doubt as per the constraints imposed by Quran. Hands and feet of hungry and needy thieves can’t be cut off as Imam Abu Hanifa ruled. Also punishment of adultery is conditional

I am neither a zealot nor a bigot nor bearded. I have degrees in literature. Have read all great writers. Yet it is my faith that the only way out of” Crime Becoming Our Culture”is strict and uncompromising adherence to Allah’s Book. Fear of punishment alone deters crime.

Only in our country stray dogs enjoy freedom to roam about on roads and streets and to bite passers-by at will(sometimes fatally)Itseems these dogs are given the same kind of protection by the Administration as has been granted to corrupt rulers by the Judiciary
