RAWALPINDI, February 14: The Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Turkey General (retd) Hulusi Akar called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Pakistan Army’s General Headquarters (GHQ) on Friday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest, regional security and measures to further enhance bilateral defense collaboration were discussed during the meeting.
COAS General Bajwa said that Pakistan values its unique relationship with Turkey and would “always stand by our brothers”.
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s contributions for conflict prevention in the region and for standing by Turkey and pledged the same for Pakistan. -Agencies
