- Pakistan will continue to play its role in Afghan peace process: Foreign Minister
ISLAMABAD, February 17: U.S Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad has lauded Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace.
Talking to U.S Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad in Islamabad on Monday, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Islamabad will continue to support an Afghan-owned and Afghan-led peace process for regional stability.
Speaking on the occasion, Zalmay Khalilzad appreciated the Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace and stability, and said Islamabad hosted Afghan refugees for four decades with open mind
Foreign Minis ter Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan will continue its efforts for political settlement of Afghan conflict.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan will prepare a comprehensive timeline framework for honorable repatriation of all Afghan refugees.-Sabah
