US president Trump’s recent visit of India created eye catching headlines due to many unprecedented happenings. Welcoming rally at Ahmadabad with an exaggerated claim of heavy crowd was itself a big attraction which turned into a joke with President Trump’s wild guess of seven million participants. The welcome show fetched advance embarrassment for India as the urgently raised wall to screen the slum from Trump’s eyes made many headlines in international media. Trump landed ! Received extra ordinary warm welcome coupled with traditional Indian buttering in Modi style and went back to USA after a successful tour. Trump’s complain about bad Indian dealing with US , few days prior to the visit , was also unusual . This complain came alongwith a harsh step of tariff exemption withdrawal which eventually nailed the possibilities of trade deal. Such harsh gestures prior to an important visit were quite unprecedented by all means. But all unprecedented items were overshadowed by the blood soaked anti- Muslim riots .World witnessed a horrible episode of extremism ! Reported number of Muslim deaths is 50 which can never be trusted due to extremely biased tendencies of Indian media . Number of causalities are surely much more than the reported figures. Intensity of riots can be gauged from the fact that Muslim population was compelled to migrate from the riot affected areas to save their lives. Riots eventually snatched the thin mask of secularism and so called democracy from the horrible face of Indian state. Outbreak of deadly riots precisely with the US President Trump’s high profile tour is another important aspect which has not yet been thoroughly explored . Trump’s silence over inhuman Delhi riots and a low profile diplomatic narration of Kashmir issue without mentioning the worst state of human rights violations clearly reflected the real tilt of US policy. Washington has kept its weight behind Modi regime and actually endorsed blind use of force against the oppressed classes which at the moment are being dominated by the Muslims. This tilt and a cleverly framed diplomatic posture of US is enough for Pakistan to interpret the mediation offers on Kashmir repeated by US president Trump in recent past. It is obvious that India is almost South Asian Israel for US. Besides offering an attractive bigger market to US , India has now become a darling client of Arms industry which primarily looks around eagerly for greater conflicts to accommodate its products. Wars , conflicts , insurgencies , armed resistances and freedom movements provide ample opportunities to global arms’ dealers. India, by virtue of its size and volatile obsession with expansionist ideology , makes it a hot attraction for global arms’ dealers. US president , like a good marketing manager, sold costly weaponry to India where an extremist expansionist like Modi is sitting at the helm of affairs. A bigger country is piling up the deadly weapon systems while totally ignoring the welfare of poor deprived masses. More than 22o Milllion Indians are not familiar with toilet facility as they attend the call of nature under open sky. Whereas , their PM is aspiring to hit the space in collaboration with US . Millions homeless people sleep on pedestrian walk ways and under the fly overs while Modi Sarkar is all set to make a third attempt to reach at moon after failing twice. Why does India need Apache attachhelicopters , integrated air defence systems and smart lethal drones? How these weapons can feed the hungry, accommodate the homeless and treat the terminally ill Indians? What are the threats for India? Sri- Lanka , Nepal and Maldive, Afghanistan can not harm India. Even, Pakistan is much behind in terms of size and numerical comparison. China , by all means , has no aggressive or violent expansionist designs. It is an undeniable reality that India , due to ultra aggressive mindset, has become a greater threat for the region and all neighbors. Sane minds in India should generate a discussion aimed at introspection of expansionist mindset. Where this mindset can lead the India and the entire region? Why India is desperate to convert the South Asian region into a market of global arms’ industry? Problems can be solved by adopting a welfare driven mindset . India can contribute for restoration of Regional peace merely by opting for a non-violent political acceleration on Kashmir issue and non- patronization of proxies. These policy shift is not possible without serious introspection. Apparently, India under RSS’ ideologues , is neither ready for introspection nor inclined towards public welfare. Bottom line; threats are looming large on regional canvas with the horrible courtesy of RSS’ extremists.
