China deserves hossanas for making anti_coronavirus vaccine. It goes to its credit also that in a very short period of time it has succeeded in eliminating its menace from China. All those countries which are victim of this virus can benefit from the methods employed by the Chinese to combat coronavirus.
Experience of hindsight reveals that in many countries of the world, more often than not, the working relationship between the government in power and the Fourth Estate is marred by mutual distrust and misunderstanding. Pakistan too is no exception. In this country both the gentlemen of the Fourth Estate and governments in power must share the blame equally for the poor working relationship that exists between them. If on the one hand, the journalists need to avoid indulging in yellow journalism, on the other, the government in power is expected to show tolerance if its policies are criticised and the media holds a mirror to it for showing it ugly spots of its face. If tolerance would not be shown by them it won’t be possible for them to have a smooth working relationship.
POSTSCRIPT: In many residential sectors of the federal capital the water bring supplied by the Municipal authorities of Islamabad is polluted and there are reports that because of the leakage of pipelines the gutter water is getting mixed up with it. Many residents of these sectors have stopped using this water and instead they are using water being supplied to them by water tankers which is a fairly costly affair. Will the concernced authorities whose job it is to ensure supply of potable water to the residents of the federal capital look into it?
