IK has been a success story in the area of dealing with the world. His charisma has been a big advantage but his thoughtfulness & knowledgbility have played no smaller role. Clearly his success has come where personal performance has been required. Elsewhere he has been let down.

Views apart, I have found Mazhar Abbas a pleasantly gentle cultured and humble journalist. As of course Klasra, Mateen, Zafar Abbas, Moeed and Malick. There are many who rejoice in their arrogance and shallowness.

I have not forgotten WALL STREET because of the warning Wall Street king Gordon Gekko (played by Paul Douglas) gives to his COO “Information in our business is the most precious commodity young man. Remain informed immaculately”.
Same is true in governance as by now IK should know.

In Pakistan like everywhere information channels are controlled as well as choked by bureaurocracy which has been hugely criminalised in the past. They will constantly be playing bluff games with Imran Khan making things harder & harder. IK will have to tighten his Vigilance Cell.
