ISLAMABAD, April 28: Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken notice of illegal appointments in federal government agencies and ministries. On the directive of the Prime Minister, Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan has written a letter to all the ministries informing them that all the officers posted without the approval of the Federal Cabinet should be dismissed. The Prime Minister has also sought details of the officers posted during the PML-N regime. A list of officers has also been sought with the approval of the cabinet ministers. Imran Khan has asked all federal ministries and their subordinate agencies to submit recruitment reports by April 30 and submit the recruitment report to the cabinet on May 5.
The Prime Minister presided over cabinet meeting on Tuesday in which the economic and political situation of the country was considered and the decisions of the Economic Co-ordination Committee (ECC) were ratified.-Agencies
