Kazakhstan holds Pakis tan in high esteem as it was one of the first foreign countries which recognized it immediately after its independence. This was stated by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan His Excellency Yerzhan Kistafin in his welcome address at a sumptuous diplomatic reception held here at a local hotel by the Embassy in connection with the 30th Independence Anniversary of Kazakhstan. The Ambassador said that his country was desirous of developing multifaceted relations with Pakistan for the benefit of people of both the countries.
He added that their exists extensive scope for enhancing the imports and exports to each other country and that business communities of both the sides should come forward to achieve the goal.
The Ambassador comprehensively highlighted the invaluable services of the visionary President of Kazakhstan H.E. Nursultan Nazarbayev in strengthening the foundations of the state and putting it on road to speedy progress and prosperity.
In his address Fawad Hussain Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, who was the Chief guest on the occasion highly appreciated the peace loving foreign policy and socially oriented internal policy of Kazakhstan. He added that promotion of relations with the Central Asian States is one of the priorities of the sitting government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Federal Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati, Federal Minister for National Food Security Syed Fakhar Imam and a number of other Parliamentarians also attended the ceremony.
On this occasion, paintings of Children with Special Needs were also beautifully displayed by the Rotary Club Islamabad which were keenly observed by the guests.
It is worth mentioning that First Secretary of the Embassy, Ms. Dilyara Kempirbayeva who was adjudged as the best young diplomat was awarded with global Ambassador award by the Chief guest.
Earlier, a video pertaining to the development of Kazakhstan was also exhibited and seen with great interest, thereby everybody was all praise with regard to the beauty and development of the brotherly country.
The ceremony was attended in large number of the people belonging to different walks of life including diplomats, civil and armed forces high ups, media personnel etc.
