As part of a working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov met with Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance of the UAE Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Zhaparov noted that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to the development of friendly relations with the UAE.
He congratulated the sheikh on the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates and conveyed the words of greetings of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to the UAE leadership.
In turn, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum emphasized the importance of developing cooperation in trade, economic and investment areas.
During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of cooperation between the two countries in a range of areas of mutual interest. In particular, they discussed cooperation in investment, tourism and agriculture.
“We invite Emirati entrepreneurs and investors to cooperate in implementing investment projects and are ready to create all conditions for their favorable activity,” the chairman of the Kyrgyz Cabinet noted.
The sides noted with satisfaction the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of institutional development and capacity building between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the UAE government.
