KARACHI, March 12: Federal Government has decided to make Mustafa Kamal as approver along with Sarfraz Merchant in money laundering case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Director Investigation FIA Inam Ghani has spoken to Sarfraz Merchant while
FIA Director Sindh Shahid Hayat contacted Mustafa Kamal who agreed to support the government in the case. He put a condition that he will appear before the court as witness if Sarfraz Merchant appears before the court.
Sources in FIA confirmed that Sarfraz Merchant has agreed to appear before the court giving surety to the government for complete support. He said he will appear before the court as witness after having consultation with legal team. Sources said that FIA team is in contact with money changers and people involved with hundi business to collect evidences about the case.-Online
