MUMBAI: Indian actress and dancer Malaika Arora Khan has reportedly made up her mind of ending her 18-year old marriage with Arbaaz Khan.
An Indian news agency reported that the actress is not even listening to her brother-in-law Salman Khan who tried to patch things up between the couple.
Malaika did not attend her sister’s Amrita Arora Ladak’s 35th birthday as her husband was present in the celebration. She also failed to show up at her sister-in-law Arpita Khan Sharma’s baby showers in Mumbai and Dubai last month.
Addressing the separation rumors, Arbaaz said that he loved Malaika but he’s possessive about her.
It wasn’t like this when she was younger or he was new into the relationship. She was precious to him and he was afraid of losing her.
Salman Khan reportedly tried to patch things up between the two. He arranged a family dinner to help Arbaaz and Malaika iron out their difference. Her sister Amrita along with her husband Shakeel Ladak and mother Joyce Policarp were invited but the actress left the scene.
A source said that the Dabangg star was sitting with Malaika sitting in the front row during the Colors Golden Petal Awards. She cheered him throughout his performance as well.
The actress told Salman and his family that she was financially providing for her son Arhaan and even paying his school fees. Her friend has confirmed that she has filed for divorce.
