Turkmenistan intends to build an enterprise for the production of glycyrrhizic acid in the structure of its Buýan (Licorice) Agro-Industrial Complex of the Türkmendermansenagat Association in Turkm enabat city of Lebap velayat. Sapardurdy Toyliyev, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turk menistan on science, education, healthcare and sports issues, during the online cabinet meeting on Friday reported to President Gurbanguly Berdim uhamedov on the preparation of a draft Resolution on the construction of the enterprise. During the official visit of President Berdim uhamedov to Italy in November 2019, the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the Italian company Adipson Ind. Srl. signed a Memorandum on the preparation of a project of an enterprise for the production of unrefined glycyrrhizic acid by processing licorice root. The Vice-Premier Toyliyev also informed that Mizemez Gadam private company won the tender of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan for the construction of this enterprise. Following the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the Vice-Premier to re-analyze the issue regarding the construction of the enterprise and submit proposals for consideration.
