President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to accelerate the introduction of electronic document management.
At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, devoted to the results of 2021, the head of state noted that he was ready to sign a document on the transition to an electronic document management system, but the Cabinet was not ready for innovations.
At the same time, the president noted that in parallel with electronic document circulation, it will also be possible to use paper document circulation, but only for six months.
“From July 1, we will stop buying paper for you. Therefore, from July 1, we need to switch to an electronic document and an electronic signature,” he added.
Sadyr Zhaparov stressed that 840 thousand packages of paper were purchased for government agencies in the republic within 10 months, that is, about a thousand tons.
“So we need to get rid of paperwork,” Sadyr Zhaparov said, adding that the new convocation of the Parliament also needs to switch to electronic document management.
