PMSA rescues five stranded fishermen from open sea

KARACHI, December 27: Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) on Monday rescued five fishermen of Karachi who were stranded at the open sea.
PMSA provided an immediate medical aid and food to the fishermen. According to the spokesman of the agency, an emergency call was received for help from the boat named Al Zahid Shah.
The maritime security team arrived on the high seas for rescue operation. The standard boat was filled with water and the fishermen were immediately evacuated from the boat, provided food and medical assistance.
Earlier, Director General PMSA R/ADM Mirza Foad Amin Baig HI (M) called on Minister of State for climate change Zartaj Gul Wazir in her office at Islamabad.
DG PMSA exchanged views with Minister of State on impact of climate change in Coastal areas and efforts of PMSA. -DNA
