WSSC Kohat in cooperation with UNICEF starts Supply of Water Project in UC-1 and UC-2

KOHAT, December 27: WSSC Kohat in Cooperation with UNICEF initiated a new project of Water Supply in UC-1 and UC-2 Kohat. Under the project, 984 meter rusted pipelines will be changed in UC-1 and UC-2 so as to provide the clean water to the concerned areas. Apart from supplying water and changing pipelines, community mobilization was also the part of the project in which the communities of each UC was made aware about need and importance of clean drinking water. In this regard, an awareness session for the women of Garhi Behram Khan Urban-2 was arranged in which Media and Communication Officer Ms. Asma Ali of WSSC and Social Mobilizers orientated the women about the need and importance of clean water along with saving the clean drinking water. In the session, the participants were also informed of their duties as being responsible citizens. – PR
