ISLAMABAD, January 5: Foreign Minister Shah Mahood Qureshi said that the government prioritised the economy in the light of the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He stated this during his visit to Institute of Regional Studies (IRS) on Wednesday, wherein he was briefed by President IRS Nadeem Riaz about the institute.
Speaking on the occasion, Qureshi said that changing regional situations warrant special attention. He stressed that the think tanks and researchers have an important role to play in helping frame effective strategies to better deal with challenges at the international level. The foreign minister assured to extend full cooperation to make the Institute of Regional Studies more effective and align it with the modern-day requirements. Qureshi visited various departments of the institute and praised the role of the IRS. -DNA
