In the city of Khiva, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov met with representatives of the business community of Khorezm region and discussed with them topical issues and business problems in the region.
An open dialogue made it possible to identify problems typical for the region, the solution of which is necessary to increase the inflow of investments, the growth of industry and an increase in export potential. All the issues voiced were subjected to a detailed analysis, as a result of which measures were determined to resolve them and instructions were given to the heads of the relevant ministries, departments, commercial banks and local authorities.
During the meeting, constructive proposals from entrepreneurs to improve the business environment were also substantively considered. Particular attention was paid to the issues of expanding the possibilities of financial support for initiators of investment projects and exporters from commercial banks, obtaining land plots, empty buildings and structures.
