All efforts of the Government to boost tourism in the country have gone down to the drain. Due to recent Murree episode which has sent a very wrong signal to the prospective would be tourists to this country who will now be fearing for their lifewhile planning holidays to spend in this country.
Why it did not occur to those at the helm of tourist departments in this country that adequate tools, proper arrangements like proper heating arrangements and quick medicare for tourists is as important for tourists as other arrangements.
We talk a lot about developing our tourism industry like the one seen in Switzerland but ignored the facilities and care which the Swiss Government provides to its tourists.
Anyhow this done can’t be undone. We ought to take listen from Murree’s episode and ensure that history isn’t repeated in future.
