Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul Qadri 0302

LAHORE, March 14: Chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr. Tahirul Qadri has said that prime ministers of India and Pakistan must also work to normalize the relations between the two nations instead of nurturing their personal relationship.
He questioned that what use are the personal relations between the prime ministers of Pakistan and India when the cricket teams of both the countries cannot visit each other.
He stated this while talking to newsmen in New Delhi on Monday, adding that the premiers of the two countries must work to normalize the relations between the two nations instead of nurturing their personal relationship. He said like Pakistan there are extremist groups in India who work on their own agenda and waste their energies on issues which are non-issues.
The PAT chief said that the national honor, traditions, culture and independence of each other must be respected at all costs. He said both the countries are very rich in natural resources and the people of both the countries are known to be hard workers, as such all the resources must be spend on the welfare of the masses of both the countries.
Dr. Tahirul Qadri said terrorism is a global issue and to tackle this we all have to help each other and all cultures must come forth to solve this problem once and for all. He said no one country in the world can tackle this issue on its own and a joint peace initiative will have to be supported for which every country in the world will have to chip in. He said all sorts of tensions on borders must be ended so that each country can concentrate on solving the terrorism and extremism issues. The PAT chief on Tuesday will be visiting the mausoleum of the great Sufi Saint Moeenuddin Chisthi in Ajmeer Sharif to pay his respects.-Agencies
