In honor of the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and on 14 January – Defender of the Motherland Day, a military-patriotic parade was held in the capital with the participation of military personnel of ministries and departments that are part of the Armed Forces.
The military-patriotic parade, which started at the Turkiston Palace, passed through the streets of Alisher Navoi, Sharof Rashidov, Islam Karimov and ended at the Friendship of Peoples Palace. More than 1,200 representatives of law enforcement agencies and military bands took part in the parade.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that the festive march with the participation of military personnel strengthened in the hearts of compatriots a sense of honor and pride in the power of the national army, for its combat potential and increased confidence in the bright tomorrow of our beloved country, where peace and tranquility reign.
And right now, a concert program is taking place on the Friendship of Peoples Square with the participation of military bands, a military ensemble and prominent artists.
