Chief Patron of KORT Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has said that the journey started by Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust from the 2005 earthquake has now spread to Azad Kashmir, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Later, the journey of sponsoring orphans and helpless children was started.
Today, the KORT complex has become the ideal welfare institution of South Asia in which orphans and helpless children are being provided with modern education along with education and training and Azad Kashmir.
And wherever there are natural disasters across Pakistan, the KORT reaches out to participate in welfare work.
The name of the Chairman of the KORT Chaudhry Muhammed Akhtar, will be inscribed in golden letters in the charitable works.
The President of Azad Kashmir welcomed the establishment of Indus Hospital by the KORT and said that it would be the only hospital in Azad Kashmir in which free medical treatment would be provided to all the people.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of the KORT Chaudhary Muhammed Akhtar while the duties of Stage Secretary were performed by Station Director Radio Muhammad Shakeel.
