President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Republican Budget for 2022 and the forecast for 2023-2024,” his press service reported Wednesday. The Law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on Dec. 22, 2021.
Total revenues of the republican budget including grants of state investments in 2022 are envisaged in the amount of KGS 282.1 billion. In nominal terms, the income of the republican budget in relation to the approved budget of 2021 will increase by 63.2%, or KGS 109.2 billion.
The total volume of expenses of the republican budget for 2022 is set at KGS 291.2 billion, which is KGS 109.9 billion more than the approved budget for 2021.
Taking into account revenues and expenditures of the republican budget, the budget deficit for 2022 will be KGS 9.1 billion, or 0.8% of GDP. However, it should be noted that the resource part of the consolidated budget for 2022, which includes the entire public administration sector of the country, is projected at KGS 403.9 billion.
