RAHIM YAR KHAN, February 3: An awareness walk was organized at KhwajaFareed University of Engineering and Information Technology under the auspices of Directorate of Student Affairs and Department of Humanities and Social Sciences to show solidarity with Kashmiris. The rally was attended by a large number of faculty members and students from different departments. Participants strongly supported the right of Kashmiris to self-determination. Students participating in the walk also chanted slogans in favor of Kashmir’s independence and against Indian aggression.
The participants said that the international community should take notice of Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and play its role in giving Kashmiris their rights in accordance with UN resolutions. Participants said that Kashmir is a part of Pakistan and every child of this country always stand with Kashmiris. Director Student Affairs Dr. Aslam Khan, Dr. SaminaSarwat, Dr. FarhanChughtai and others were also present in the walk.-PR
