Usman Khalid lauds development work during the last two years and commended performance of VC KFUEIT and his team

RAHIM YAR KHAN, February 17: Additional Secretary Planning and Development Usman Khalid visited KhwajaFareed University of Engineering and Information Technology. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir received the distinguished guest. Additional Secretary Usman Khalid visited different parts of the university and reviewed the development projects. He also lauded the development work done in the last two years and commended the performance of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Suleman Tahir and his team on timely completion of various projects in the last two years. He said that the government is providing all the resources for facilitating higher education and development of this sector. He said that the role of the education sector is very important in establishing a knowledge based economy and giving Pakistan a prominent place in the global competitive race. That is why the government is working to increase the quality of teaching and research in universities, improve infrastructure and make higher education opportunities accessible to the youth. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Suleman Tahir gave a briefing on teaching, research and development at KFUEIT. He said that no compromise would be made on the speed and quality of development work in the university. He said that despite the epidemic, examinations were ensured with full safety measures so that there would be no hindrance in the education of students, to which the Additional Secretary expressed satisfaction.
