Arshad Ayub Khan distributes 40 allotment letters of quarters among the industrial workers

PESHAWAR, February 21: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Irrigation Arshad Ayub Khan has said that if our workers areprosperous then the industrialists will be happy and if the industrialists are prosperous then thecountry will be prosperous and developed. It is giving maximum benefits and facilities so that more and more industrialists can set up their industries in our country and create more and more
employment opportunities in our country so that no young person remained unemployed.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting held at the office of HattarIndustrial Association at Hattar Industrial Estate Haripur on Monday under the auspices of Workers Welfare Board on the occasion of distribution of allotment letters of quarters to 40 workers of 15 different industries.
The meeting was also attended by members of Hattar Industrial Estate Association, officialsof Workers Welfare Board, owners of various industries, workers and others.
Arshad Ayub Khan directed the Workers Welfare Board that All facilities should be ensured for these workers and special attention should be given to health and education.
He further said that no abuse should be done to any of the workers working here and if any one was found doing so, action would be taken against him and the entire responsibility would rest with the Workers Welfare Board.
He said that they should also create facilities for the industrialists and I would also like to thank the industrialists who have invested their capital here and set up their own units which have provided employment to our people.
He directed the industrialists to contribute as much as possible in the Workers’ Welfare Fundso that the workers could get maximum benefits. Arshad Ayub Khan, while instructing theindustrialists, said that those who are exposed to contaminated water from their faucets affect the population. He said that they should set up small treatment plants so that the populationwould not be affected.
Arshad Ayub Khan said that our government is keen to set up modern healthcare facilities herelike other industrial units of the province so that the workers here also find modern healthcarefacilities here.-PR
