ISLAMABAD, February 23: Pakistan is a beautiful country with talented and loving people and that owing to its diverse culture, heritage and natural beauty, it has a huge potential for the international tourism. This has been stated by H.E. Adam Mulawarman Tugio during a meeting with Maj. Gen.( R) Khalid Amir Jaffery and Brig.(R) Akhtar Nawaz Janjua of Centre for South Asia and International Studies ( CSAIS ) in Islamabad.
He said that both the countries share multiple similarities including religions, culture, heritage and history and that the leadership and the people of both the countries are determined to further strengthen the existing relationship for the larger benefit of the two sides.
The envoy said that Indonesia can serve as a gateway for Pakistan to expand its exports in South East Asia and that his Embassy has been working hard to keep the momentum of engagements intact to retain the business interests of both the sides alive.
The Indonesian envoy added that he is determined to explore more and more avenues of mutually beneficial collaboration and for this purpose he remains in touch with the relevant government quarters and business community of Pakistan. He further said that both Indonesia and Pakistan can play pivotal role for the development of Muslim Ummah by sharing their skills and knowledge.
The Ambassador also extended greetings to the delegation for establishing Centre for South Asia and International Studies (CSAIS)and assured every possible cooperation with the entity for enhancing the level of cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.
On his part Maj. Gen( R) Khalid Amir Jaffery and Brig.( R) Akhtar Nawaz Janjua explained in detail the objectives of the CSAIS by adding that the newly established Think Tank will explore every possible opportunity not only for enhancing the soft image of Pakistan but to further promote and strengthen the relationship with friendly countries.
