ISLAMABAD, February 27: An 11-member delegation of Allama Iqbal Open University led by the Vice Chancellor, AIOU, Prof. Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum has arrived in Turkey on a seven-day official visit. The delegation will visit various universities in Turkey and the purpose of this visit is to introduce educational programs in various disciplines with Turkish universities and to explore the possibilities of the faculty development/exchange program.
AnMoU will be signed with IbnKhaldun University, Turkey. Moreover, VC, AIOU, Prof. Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum will give a special lecture on the new initiatives taken by Open University while the Director, Directorate of International Collaboration and Exchange, Dr. ZahidMajeed will brief about the University and educational facilities provided to international students. Anadolu University will host the visit in Turkey. During the stay at Anadolu University, there will be meetings between the heads and professors. The delegation will visit the Turkish Youth Foundation, ILKE Foundation and the mausoleum of MaulanaJalaluddin Muhammad Rumi.-PR
