Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Kazakbaev received on Friday Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kyrgyzstan (with the residence in Tashkent) Saeed Matar Al-Qemzi on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.
The sides discussed topical issues in political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as attracting investments and further deepening of bilateral cooperation, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported. Ruslan Kazakbaev welcomed the intention of the UAE government to open its embassy in Kyrgyzstan, and said that the Foreign Ministry is ready to provide comprehensive assistance in this matter.
In turn, Ambassador Al-Qemzi expressed readiness to make every effort to develop the Kyrgyz-Emirati bilateral cooperation, and thanked the Kyrgyz side for the support provided to him during his tenure as head of the diplomatic mission. At the end of the meeting, the Kyrgyz foreign minister expressed deep gratitude to the ambassador for his contribution to strengthening relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the United Arab Emirates and bringing bilateral cooperation to a new level, and wished him great success in future activities.
