Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Zhamankulov held a working meeting with Minister of Sports of Saudi Arabia Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Saud. During the meeting, the two ministers discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of sports and ethno-sport, the press service of the Kyrgyz Culture Ministry said.
“Zhamankulov offered his counterpart to implement the projects “Nomad Universe,” “World Ethno Games” and “I’m nomad,” the report says. In turn, Minister Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Saud supported the proposed ideas and assured of readiness to provide all possible assistance.
In conclusion, the Kyrgyz culture minister officially invited his interlocutor to visit Kyrgyzstan at any convenient time and get acquainted with the unique culture and life.
The above-mentioned projects are aimed at preservation of both national sports and unique culture and heritage of nomadic peoples.
