Presidents of Central Asian countries congratulated President Sadyr Zhaparov and the people of Kyrgyzstan on the Nooruz holiday, his press service said Monday. Thus, Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s congratulatory message reads:
“May this anciently revered Nauryz bring joy and prosperity to our close-knit brotherly nations. I am firmly convinced that due to our joint efforts, the alliance of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, based on strong friendship and good neighborliness, will continue to develop dynamically for the benefit of our nations. May Nauryz bring prosperity and well-being to every home!
Tokayev wished Zhaparov great success in all good deeds for the sake of progress and sustainable development of the country, and prosperity to the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan.
Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also sent his congratulatory message to the Kyrgyz leader and the people of the country. “This ancient holiday, embodying our age-old values and shared history, serves to further strengthen the close bonds of friendship and good neighborly relations between the two brotherly peoples. I highly appreciate the friendly relations that have developed between us in recent years, and I especially want to emphasize that our upcoming summits will serve to comprehensively expand the multifaceted and mutually beneficial cooperation. Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished Sadyr Zhaparov good health, family happiness and great success in responsible state activity, and to the brotherly Kyrgyz people – peace, prosperity and constant progress. The congratulatory message of Tajikistan’s Emomali Rahmon runs:
“It is gratifying that the ancient Navruz, which today has acquired the status of an international holiday, continues to serve the interests of humanity with its deep spiritual meaning.
I am convinced that Tajik-Kyrgyz relations of cooperation and good neighborliness, following the good traditions of the blessed Navruz, will continue to develop and expand in the future in accordance with the indigenous interests of our peoples. The Tajik president wished his Kyrgyz counterpart good health and happiness, and to the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan – peace, stability and prosperity.
