ISLAMABAD, March 22: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif has said that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that whenever former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was asked to do something, he never refused. According to details, Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif while addressing a press conference in Islamabad said that in all our meetings, the COAS said that Nawaz Sharif has always shown respect towards Army. “I’m not saying anything from my side, everyone heard the words of General Qamar Javed Bajwa,” he added. While extending good wishes for the guests who came to Pakistan to attend OIC CFM session, the PML-N president hoped that the forum will raise a voice for Kashmiri and Palestinian brothers and sisters, he added. On the revelations made by Broadsheet LLC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kaveh Moussavi, Shehbaz Sharif said that he had sought an unconditional apology from Nawaz Sharif. The governments of General Musharraf and Imran Khan as well as the Broadsheet LLC have failed to get any illegal funds or assets of Mian Nawaz Sharif. Shehbaz declared Moussavi a great man who has admitted his mistake and confessed it too, adding that mistakes happen to all of us. He said the apology of the Broadsheet chief is a slap in the face to PM Imran which has exposed another lie of him before the nation. The PMLN president said the nation’s money was wasted on the Broadsheet case in which people like Shahzad Akbar were also included. Shehbaz said Nawaz Sharif has worked for the nation while Imran Niazi and his gang tried to defame him. He raised the question that where the JIT now in which Nawaz Sharif appeared. He said only Nawaz Sharif will take the nation back on the right path of development who will return as soon as doctors give permission. He said the NAB-Niazi nexus had been exposed in front of the whole world, adding that Niazi had no authority to give orders to the NAB. Shahbaz said a female parliamentarian of PM Imran has abused the Pak army on social media and what Imran himself has said against Pakistani forces in London is not hidden to anyone. Regarding the return of Nawaz Sharif, the PML-N president said that Nawaz Sharif needs the permission of doctors, then he will come to Pakistan. Giving a strong reaction, Federal Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has tweeted that the owner of the Broadsheet LLC is himself an accused of the NAB. -DNA
