ISLAMABAD, March 30: Iranian Foreign Minister Hussand Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi met on the sidelines of a meeting of Afghanistan’s neighbours in China.
Bilateral relations, regional and International issues were discussed. Both sides agreed on promoting the construction of joint border markets and holding the 21st session of Joint Economic Commission very soon.
The Iranian foreign minister headed a political delegation on Tuesday to attend the third meeting of Afghanistan’s foreign ministers in the eastern Chinese city of Tunshi in Anhui Province.
The third meeting of Afghanistan’s neighbors will be hosted by China in Beijing.
The second meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries was held on November 26, last year, hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran.
The first meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighbouring countries was hosted by Pakistan on September 8th.
The meeting was attended by the foreign ministers of Iran, China, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.-PR
