ISLAMABAD, March 30: The federal government has decided to convene an in-camera session of Parliament following a threatening letter from Prime Minister Imran Khan.
It may be recalled that while addressing a rally at Parade Ground in Islamabad on March 27, Prime Minister Imran Khan had accused the opposition of trying to overthrow the government by taking money from outside. We have been threatened in writing and attempts are being made from outside to change the government.
According to sources, a meeting of the Federal Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. During the meeting, the members were taken into confidence on the issue of secret letter.
Meanwhile, the internal story of the special meeting of the Federal Cabinet has come to light. The secret message to the cabinet members was shown on the teleprompter. The Prime Minister will convene a meeting of the National Security Committee. The meeting will show a secret message to the military leadership.
Furthermore, on the issue of the letter, the federal government has decided to convene an in-camera session of parliament. The letter will be brought to these camera sessions of Parliament.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser wrote on the social networking site Twitter that if the government and opposition parliamentary leaders in Parliament agree on the
threatening letter, it could be discussed in the camera meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security.-NNI
