ISLAMABAD, March 7: The 7th of April is celebrated as a Global Health Awareness Day. Every year World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other related organizations observe this day to create awareness and draw worldwide attention to re-imagine a world where clean air, water and food are available to all, where economies are focused on health and well-being, where cities are livable and people have control over their health and the health of the planet. The day is acknowledged by various governments as well as governmental and Non- Governmental Organizations to make commitments towards betterment of public health. This year Inspire Pakistan “aim to keep humans and the planet healthy and foster a movement to create societies more focused on well – being”.
Inspire Pakistan, a Non-Governmental Organization, believes that threats to health can affect people anywhere any time in any possible way. Poverty stricken areas are more exposed to and encounter severe health issues due to lack of heath related facilities. Inspire Pakistan is working in collaboration with other international nonprofit organizations towards minimizing health risks to general public.
Inspire Pakistan’s CEO Mr. Qaiser M. Siddiqui envisions to create awareness and bring attention of the government and general public towards health issues.
