ISLAMABAD, April 12: The first advice given by ace politician and former president Asif Ali Zardari to newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was to avoid any kind of political victimization insisting that the new government promote traditions of reconciliation, tolerance and cooperation thus giving some space to each other.
In his meeting with PM Shehbaz who came to see him at Zardari House on Tuesday, the former president and PPP co-chairman inculcated a sense of calm and tolerance in the head of newly installed chief executive of the country. He advised him to avoid making political cases against former ruling PTI leaders. It will give the impression that that the new government is taking political revenge which is not good, he said. Zardari counselled Shehbaz to let former prime minister Imran Khan do what he wanted to do. Any wrong step by the government might raise his political stature and make him hero, he cautioned. The PPP co-chairman advised against lodging cases against outgoing National Assembly speaker, deputy speaker .- DNA
