RAHIM YAR KHAN, April 18: Faculty Development Training Workshop was organized at KhwajaFareed University of Engineering and Information Technology in which Prof. Dr. ShahidMunir, Vice Chancellor, University of Jhang participated as Guest Speaker. Vice Chancellor KhwajaFareed University of Engineering and Information Technology Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir welcomed the distinguished guest. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir and Prof. Dr. ShahidMunir, while expressing their views, highlighted the importance of the role of faculty in the development of universities. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir said that universities can increase the pace of development of the society through mutual cooperation in the fields of teaching and research. He said that KhwajaFareed University strives to provide a conducive environment for the students for their educational activities and also to provide suitable opportunities after their education. In this regard, various workshops are organized to improve the performance of teachers and staff. Prof. Dr. ShahidMunir said that the purpose of coming here is to benefit from the experiences of KhwajaFareed University. Applied nature research and study is an important need of the hour. He said that he came here to learn a lot. We shared our experiences with each other. He said that such training sessions enhance the efficiency of the faculty and lead to the development of the university. During this time MoU was signed and documents were exchanged between the two universities to cooperate in the research. The delegation from University of Jhang included Muzaffar Abbas, Wahid Ali, Samina Supra, Sultan AdilMahmood and Abdul Sami. Additional Registrar of KhwajaFareed University Dr. Muhammad Sagheer Ahmed, Dr. Bilal Tahir, Dr. Ahmed Sohaib, Dr. FarhanChughtai, Dr. Adnan Khaliq, Dr. SaminaSarwat and heads of various departments and teachers were also present.
