Why are some political observers busy making unnecessary fur ore over Tausha Khana is beyond me.
The issue is quite simple.The Vvips often get costly gifts from the governments of the country they go on official visit.They are supposed to declare them on return home snd then get them deposited in Tausha Khana of state bank The government is then supposed to form a committee which determines market value of these gifts Since the recipients have the first right on their ownership they can take them home but after depositing one- fourth of the price determined by that committee in the government treasury If they don’t, the government is supposed to put them to public auction and the amount real used in the auction is deposited into govt treasury and that’s that.
There is no gainsaying the fact that the above mentioned rules which govern the affair are not being followed in letter and spirit since long and if an open inquiry is held in the matter many sacred cows would be exposed.
