PESHAWAR, April 20: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Irrigation Arshad Ayub Khan has said that completion of Seren RightBank Canal project will start new era of Progress in the area. The estimated cost is Rs. 2 billion and80 million.
With the completion of Seren Right Bank Canal Mansehra, the agriculture and agriculture sector in thearea will develop. Which will bring pleasant changes in the lives of the people.
Under the vision of PTI leader Imran Khan and under the patronage of Chief Minister Mehmood Khan,record development projects are underway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Irrigation Department hasinitiated record projects for construction of small dams and canals. With this abundant lands of theprovince are being brought under cultivation.
He expressed these views during his visit to Seren Right Bank Canal Project in Mansehra.
On this occasion, Project Director seren right Bank Canal Mansehra, XEN and Other concerned
officials of Irrigation Department were present.
During the briefing, the Provincial Minister for Irrigation was informed in detail about the ongoing workon the project, estimated cost, utility and importance and the problems faced.
During briefing official told that the project will complete in five years and discharge of water from sameproject will be 85 cusecs.
Provincial Minister for Irrigation Arshad Ayub Khan directed for better quality of construction work andcompletion on time.
The provincial minister also paid a detailed visit to the project and reviewed the ongoing constructionwork at various places.-PR
