Mindless slaughter of innocent non-combatants should be regarded as the most despicable crime against humanity – as well as the worst act of rebellion against Allah the Almighty, the All Beneficent and the Supreme Giver of life and death.
The Brussels bombings that have caused 35 deaths and injured many more cannot but be condemned as acts of devils in the garbs of human beings. There have been Madrid bombings, London bombings and Paris bombings too to cause havoc in the heart of Europe – resulting in each case massive backlash against the followers of Islam. Those who have already accepted the responsibility of the Brussels bombings carry the Islamic State identity. Meaning thereby that the ‘culprit’ in this case too will be identified as Islam – though militant to be more specific.
Just to make the record unquestionably clear, I want to mention here two acts of carnage in KPK (in very recent memory) which brought agony into many more homes. Those who caused these carnages (in APS and Bacha Khan University) carried Islamic identity too but those who perished had the same identity as well.
Don’t we then have excellent reasons to surmise that the real target of all these heinous acts is the image of Islam? Even though these crazy killers acting in the name of Islam, carry emphatic Islamic names, isn’t it a fact that their acts of insane barbarism are fundamentally designed to create an impression that Islam is a Faith that creates beasts.
This in my opinion is a WAR ON ISLAM – engineered by unknown forces that are scared at the thought of the re-emergence of the Crescent,and of the civilization of peace it stands for.
