Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev met in Berlin on April 29 with Mr. Torsten Svoboda, head of the German company EDUVISO, during which issues of further development of cooperation were discussed.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that Svoboda informed about the activities of the company and said that in cooperation with a number of medical colleges in Kyrgyzstan, since 2019, targeted training in the specialty and the German language has been carried out for about 80 Kyrgyz nursing students, who will subsequently practice and work in Germany. In 2022, the first graduates of this program will come to Germany for an internship.
Ambassador Omurbek Tekebaev noted the importance of this systematic work aimed at training in Kyrgyzstan competitive nurses with knowledge of the German language, who will be in demand in the German labor market and expressed the willingness of the Kyrgyz side to provide comprehensive support for the activities of the EDUVISO company in Kyrgyzstan. He also reported on the study by the embassy with the German side of organized training in the Kyrgyz Republic and the attraction of qualified specialists in Germany with knowledge of the German language and other specialties and professions. Svoboda said that in the near future it is planned to sign an Agreement between the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad under the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic and the German company EDUVISO (https://www.eduviso.de) for close cooperation and expansion of areas cooperation.
