Chinese mainland records 187 new confirmed COVID-19 cases

The Chinese mainland recorded 187 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday, with 174 linked to local transmissions and 13 from overseas, data from the National Health Commission showed on Monday.
A total of 682 asymptomatic cases were also recorded on Sunday, and 35,217 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.
Cumulative number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland is 223,332, with the total death toll from COVID-19 at 5,223.
The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan region is as follows:
Hong Kong: 331,994 (61,899 recoveries, 9,370 deaths) Macao: 82 (82 recoveries) Taiwan: 1,320,371 (13,742 recoveries, 1,396 deaths). – CGTN
