The event was held for two days in a face-to-face and virtual format.
The exhibition was opened with a welcoming speech by Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia and representatives of the Malaysian Tourism Board. The Embassy worked out the issue of allocating a separate pavilion to Kyrgyzstan for the presentation and promotion of tourism potential, where the travel company Ai-Gul Turtravel took part from the Kyrgyz side, the Foreign Ministry noted.
During the exhibition, the embassy staff shared in detail information about the country’s features (history, culture, traditions and customs, national cuisine and nature). Particular attention was paid to tourism in the summer and winter seasons. Souvenirs and handicrafts of Kyrgyz artisans and sweets of national cuisine were widely presented in the embassy pavilion. In addition, various brochures and booklets about Kyrgyzstan, as well as various souvenirs were distributed to visitors, the press service added.- Kabar
