Ranveer Singh recently said that he’d like a ‘happily-ever-after’ story with rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are two of Bollywood’s hottest young actors who never fail to scorch the silver screen, whenever they star in a project again. Though many people in the Indian film industry and fans of the two superstars love to see their movies, apparently Ranveer is not all that comfortable with how his collaborations with Deepika end up. For one, he dies at the very end!
“I definitely want to survive, live and see a happy ending in which Deepika and I live together happily ever after. In most of my films with Deepika, I just die,” said the macho actor. Ranveer also revealed how his mother also hated to see her son die in most of his movies and when his character was killed in Bajirao Mastani, she held him for half an hour.
“I did not want my mum to watch Bajirao in the first week itself. But she insisted and watched the film with a few friends and family members. But after the film got over she was literally numb and hugged me for almost half an hour. I had to give her a lot of pappies (kisses) and jhappies (hugs). She, of course, does not like to see me die in films. Let’s hope that in my next film I survive,” he added.
Bajirao Mastani released on December 18 and stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The movie focuses on the warrior Peshwa Bajirao and his two wives, one played by Deepika (Mastani) and the other played by Priyanka Chopra (Kashibai). The movie has grossed an impressive amount and is reportedly giving Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s Dilwale a tough time at the box office.
Given the fact that Ranveer’s characters have suffered deaths in Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani, it’s only fair he does get a movie with Deepika in which he gets to live at the end!
