Tajikistan will resume air communication with China. The first flight between the countries is scheduled for June 23, Khovar reported citing the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of Tajikistan. “After a two-year break caused by the coronavirus pandemic, direct flights in the direction of Dushanbe-Urumqi-Dushanbe will resume on June 23,” the Agency noted. They also stated that the Tajik authorities notified China of their readiness to resume air traffic. Beijing recently sent an official response confirming similar intentions. For now, Somon Air and China Southern Airlines will operate one flight every two weeks. Earlier it became known that Tajikistan will resume flights with India and Iran. Planes between the countries will begin to run twice a week. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tajikistan suspended international flights with China on April 10, 2020. – Kabar
