President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov has visited servicemen who were injured in a recent border incident with the use of weapons on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border in Batken region.
The head of state talked to the wounded, inquired about their state of health, and wished the servicemen a speedy recovery and recuperation.
Currently, the patients are under the supervision of specialists and receive appropriate medical care at the National Hospital, all the necessary diagnostic tests have been carried out.
Two soldiers were injured in the border conflict on June 3, when the Tajik border guards invaded on the territory of Kyrgyzstan and opened fire on Kyrgyz servicemen by ignoring the legitimate demands of the Kyrgyz border guards to leave the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
The Tajik side used mortars during exchange of fire between the border guards of the two countries. – Kabar
