muhammad-hafeez-large1Mohammad Hafeez who is back into Pakistan has stated he would have been fit to play within only a week but team management & chief selector told him to leave for Pakistan and he should not participate in the World Cup. Hafeez further said that the decision was taken to send him home and that he was told that no further discussion was needed about it. Watch full video below:Cricketer Muhammad Hafeez criticized Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management on Thursday and said that he would have recovered from his ankle injury in a week, but he has been sent back and ruled him out of the World Cup.
Talking to media here Hafeez said that his injury would recover from his injury in a week but the team management sent him back to Pakistan but his is the management’s decision; it’s for the best.
I am sad to miss the World Cup, Hafeez said.
I have always tried to play a role in Pakistan’s success and this is an unfortunate scenario for me, Hafeez added.Further, Hafeez said that it would be best that he recovers first and clears his bowling action.
Few days ago, Hafeez was ruled out of the World Cup after suffering an ankle injury, in yet another blow to the team before the mega-event.
